A movie that can make you smile... and laugh! A movie about life, love, friendship, loyalty and teenage love rolled into one.

The film is centered on a plain-looking, dark-skinned school girl named Nam (Baifern Pimchanok Leuwisedpaiboon) who is secretly in love with an older Grade 10 guy named Shone (Mario Maurer). Shone is a photography enthusiast and a popular student in their school. However, he is often teased by some of his schoolmates because his father didn't score the penalty kick and made their province lose in a national football cup. But that doesn't change the fact that a lot of girls in their school are going crazy over him, including Nam. However, Nam is well aware that she is not the prettiest of the bunch, but she doesn't give up easily. With help from her close girl friends, Nam tries everything to make herself more beautiful and outstanding in school, hoping that Shone would like her someday.

The story started with Nam still looking plain and simple. Not anyone you'll give a second look. But as the story progressed, the ugly duckling turned into a beautiful and irresistible swan... in the name of LOVE.

Her real name is Fern Pimchanok Lerwisetpibol. She's a Thai actress and model who was born on September 30, 1992 in Bangkok, Thailand. She rose to fame when she played the role of Nam in this movie. In 2010, she was also casted in the movie,Bangkok Knockout.

This pretty lady can play the piano and the guitar. Aside from that, she is also into drawing.

1) Best Female Newcomer Award in TOP Awards 2010
2) Top-talk Star Couple for 2011 (with Mario Maurer) in Mthai Award 2011

Mario Maurer is the only Thai actor I know. (really!) This guy who's blessed with a handsome face and oozing charisma started with modeling in photo shoots before becoming an actor. Aside from his name "Mario", he is also named Nuttavut Maurer -- born to a Thai/Chinese mother and a German father on December 4, 1988.

Prior to this movie, Mario had already portrayed a gay role -- the lead character -- in the movie, The Love of Siam which shot him to fame. He was awarded the Best Actor in the 10th Cinemanila International Film Festival for Southeast Asian film category. Since then, he has received offers for different roles in movies.
